I would recommend this book to anyone who likes civil war and action.

I think this is a great book for older elementary and younger junior high kids. If you enjoy reading historical fiction, you should really like this. I read it first in fourth grade and it was one of the books we read in sixth grade. I would still be willing to read it again! It makes great historical references to the Civil War. It won't take too long to read, but it is a good book.
