I bought this book as a basic guide to the brain and it was absolutley brilliant (and it's not just for kids, this is great basic knowledge to use as a start point before you read the more complicated books!!)

It contains details about the basic structure of the brain and what happens when you are asleep, when you feel happy or sad and when you feel pain.

I loved it. The illustrations were good and the tone of the writing wasn't at all patronising. Great for anyone intersted in the brain of about 10 years and upwards.

Highly recommended!

Brilliant!!! 18 July 2011

Format:Paperback
As a psychology student, I was skeptical about how much this book would benefit me, as I thought it would only be suitable for young children. After reading it, I would definitely recommend it to absolutely everyone who is studying Psychology, or is merely just intrigued about the brain- absolutely brilliant!!
