There are bigger books, more comprehensive books, books with more maps, more history, more suggestions - but none which will slip with ease into a handbag or a pocket and cover the essentials. I've found increasingly that "Please" and "thank you" make such a difference, in whatever language, and Berlitz is also full of useful little titbits and tips. Well worth the purchase for a short visit, although for a longer stay a more weighty book might be recommended.

i did not order this book and it is still awaiting return label to be sent back as it is absolutely no use to me
