A good guide 4 Nov 2008
Format:Paperback
Building Your Portfolio, is a good guide overall, despite being slightly expensive. It provides examples of reflective writing strategies that you can use and goes through case studies of candidates applying for certification, chartership, fellowship and revalidation. My only quibbles were that the book could have information on examples of actual styles of reflective writing. I found the book to be useful however, to stimulate some creative problem-solving with regards to my portfolio. I would recommend that candidates buy this guide. I do feel however, that some questions i had were not cleared up and that i need a mentor, in addition to the guide.
