Building the Pram

This little book is a very detailed/well balanced piece of resource that should be a welcome addition to any builder that is building a Nutshell Pram! The book has detailed pictures that explain all the steps that you will use in constructing your pram. The book does however refer to the blue prints at times, and it will still be necessary to buy the blueprints separately! The prints are of necessity, and they are the first step. This book just goes into detail on how to perform the necessary steps.

I've not built this boat, but I have had the chance to row one. For such a small boat, it is very steady. According to the owner, it was very easy to build (his first), and completed his third this year, an 11' skiff and 12' sailing dinghy.
I have rowed a variety of inflatable rafts. I have felt they were reasonably steady and easy to row. The Nutshell Pram is far better! Now I plan to build one.

Not a boat building plan.

This may be a step by step instruction on how to build this boat but you will need to purchase a set of plans or a kit to actually build one. Wish the description of this book had pointed that out before I purchased it.
