Product Description

Product Description

Willpower is a trait the Puritans had plenty of, but which is seriously lacking in today's society. The good news is, your willpower "muscle" can be strengthened. There are also ways to make better use of whatever willpower--no matter how limited--you currently have on hand. This invaluable book won't stop at motivating readers to strengthen their willpower: it also includes numerous tips on how to accomplish the task.

5.0 out of 5 stars The one book that covers everything 19 July 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
With lots of practical exercises to help you get a grip on yourself this book has it all.

Let's face it, all of the self-help books you have read tell you, one way or another, how to get yourself motivated and moving in the direction that's in your best interests.

Clear, concise and eminently readable and without all of the padding and waffle that clog up most of such books it's a must for people need a push to pursue their goals

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Summary Of Different Aspects Of Willpower 27 Mar 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I liked this book. It contained a lot of information that is available in similar texts such as Willpower by Kelly McGonigal. That said it provided a good summary in about 50+ pages of the key points.

4.0 out of 5 stars Much better than expected 12 Dec 2013

Having in my time read many self help books, this one really connected with me and I am certain that will power is the corner stone of self improvement.
Kerry has some good ideas of how to strengthen your willpower and I have used some of them to get out of my armchair and get moving on a couple of projects I have been putting off month after month.
Developing really strong will power combats procrastination and all the other excuses we make up.
Thanks Kerry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, great price! 17 Nov 2013
By SandyF
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This little book is a gem, with practical, but insightful advice to stop you from giving up on your hearts desires and help you to create 'the way' and stick with it. Kerry reminds you not to try to deal with too many goals at once, instead, think of the one that will have the greatest impact on your life so you can build up your willpower without it wearing thin. You can pick up others when you have established new habits and there is something else that becomes the goal which will have the greatest impact. I'm off to plan for my most important goal now! Thanks Kerry!
