This book is appropriate for those with a very low self-image, who are struggling financially, have a lot of debt, or who prefer to ignore their financial situation all together. However, if you do already experience abundance (and perhaps want more), feel confident with keeping financial records (I'm not talking detailed records, I simply mean tracking how much you earn vs. spend), and perhaps even manage to save a little, this book is not for you. I can see the ability of this book to shift ones financial situation from poor to good, but not from good to great. As others have said, this book makes the connection between emotions and thoughts and ones financial freedom. However, all of the examples given are about really low end of the spectrum, negative thought patterns. The point is to recognize the negative emotions and thoughts that are holding you back, and then shift them. If you already have a positive outlook, feel like things are going well, and perhaps want them to be even better, reading all of these extremely negative thought patterns can have the opposite effect.
