My son is 4 and in a wheelchair that is designed to look like an up to date buggy but has no hood or raincover (special needs raincovers cost £200+!)and in this country you need one! We bought this as an alternative and it works a treat. As he is sitting down the poncho covers down to just below his knees and we pull it over the back of his buggy to keep the seat from getting wet too. The only part of him that gets wet is his face which is a bit of a downside but he doesn't seem to mind too much. I've since recommend these to other Mums, the designs are fun and funky, my son just loves frogs so this was perfect and we get loads of positive comments and smiles when he's wearing it. The pouch it comes in is really usefull too as we just hang it over his wheelchair so we always have it with us. A bargain price for a quality product.
