5.0 out of 5 stars Success for Beginning Readers! 31 July 2000
By G. Watson - Published on Amazon.com
This book is perfect for children who are just learning to read! The colorful illustrations on each page give the reader lots of clues to help them with their first attempts at reading. The book contains a review of the alphabet, pictures with labels (such as parts of the body), rebus stories, and stories made of only one, two, three, or four words. There is a lot of rhyme and playfulness which makes this book a joy to share with a beginning reader. As a first grade teacher, I plan on buying many copies of this book for my classroom to help my beginning readers feel SUCCESSFUL!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Ready Readers 2 Jan 2014

This is a fun book. Though it is an older book-it is timeless. It is a great book for children just showing an interest in words and reading and also older children having difficulty with reading. It has a clever design with pictures substituted for certain words (rebus). I can read the more difficult words and the child can read the pictures. It is particularly a good book for children who are at the reading stage(ready) who are pretending to read to themselves. The illustrations are fun and very colorful.

My book came from CMYBOOKS and arrived almost the next day. It was such great service.
