Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

Age 6-8

If you have a younger brother who just gets on your nerves, can you think of a better way of getting your own back than turning him into a bluebottle? When Jamie wreaks his sweet revenge on with a swish of his magic cape, he is delighted with his efforts until he realises that he has to change things back to normal before mum and dad get home...

Pete Johnson is always superb, and in this sparkling novel for newly confident readers he turns up the charm in a funny, pacey story that will have even the most reluctant reader hooked from beginning to end. --Susan Harrison --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

5.0 out of 5 stars Magical humour, 16 Dec 2000
By A Customer
I liked this story because it is funny and magical. It is about an older brother who finds a magician's cloak and uses the special wishes to turn his annoying little brother into a bluebottle. I have a little brother, though I'm tempted I wouldn't like to turn him into a bug!
