I've had an 80Gb Buffalo portable external hard drive for some time but as the photo album builds up I decided to go for a bigger capacity and pass on the 80Gb to my daughter. I hadn't realised how miniaturised they had become. Some reviewers I have read say that it is slow, I have not found this. On the original drive I had there was Memeo Autobackup, very goog in backing up files instantly, I have got to get used to loosing this software. Memeo will not work if you upgrade to another computer and keep your external hard drive, you get a 30 day free trial off the internet. The software with this new drive seems to work on all the computers I have tried it on. The software supplied is ample for me, I can wait a few seconds-but it seems in todays world people expect things to happen instantaniously and so mark it down. Would recommend this "amazing little" drive to anybody.

Best External HDD,

This is the third ministation that I have bought, one each for 2 of my daughters which they use all the time so decided to get one for myself. It holds all my music, lots of films and TV series. As usual the only complaint is the cable is a bit short and it is not a normal mini usb connection at the HDD end as it's usb3.

excellent product, fast delivery, really quick at transferring files,reasonably priced at £60 at the time I bought it, doesn't need a USB 3.0 port on your machine works well on a 2.0 port just transfer rate is slower. has a RAM-Disk section for back up of data.
