I would not recommend this product simply because the level of service offered by the company (GolfBuddy; not Amazon) is so poor. My device broke after only a limited amount of use - nothing now appears on the screen, despite the device being fully charged. I contacted Golf Buddy via email (I had to chase a response from them over a number of weeks - at least 4 emails) and was told that as I had purchased the device within the last two years I would be covered under warranty. However, on attempting to return the device Golf Buddy have now said that the fault is outside of the specification of the warranty and are refusing to undertake a free repair. A simple Google search would seem to suggest that my experience is not unique. In my opinion there are much better options available for the recreational golfer.
