Sometime back, I purchased quite a number of books on Buddhist teachings. Some were of them very useful, some of them were bewildering and some of them just gave me a thumping headache. However, few of them made me smile and laugh, as this one did. There are those who would probably think that a book like this makes light of Buddhism. I would strongly disagree. I thought it was charming, apt and thought-provoking. After all, on the road to spiritual enrichment, you can't be serious all the time, can you? You have to laugh sometimes. I highly recommend it.

A charming, funny...and just basically very amusing little book, for anyone interested in Buddhism...at any level....or anyone starting the journey of mindfulness meditation.
Puts life into perspective...and a smile on your face! I have purchased several copies for non Buddhist friends; they all love it.

This book is not for the sheepish but rather those who are not fussy about sources of enlightenment. It would appeal to those with a sense of humour based on "the far side.." The key messages and pearls of wisdom are nicely delivered through the medium of humour. My only criticism is that there was not more of it, but it did make me laugh. Not recommended for wooly thinkers though. This is a great bedside book with plenty of food for thought.
