4.0 out of 5 stars Buddhism And Animals, 12 Nov 2011
This review is from: Buddhism and Animals: A Buddhist Vision of Humanity's Rightful Relationship with the Animal Kingdom (Paperback)
This volume provides a good comprehensive review of the attitude of Buddhism towards animals. Tony Page PhD is a scholar of Buddhist thought. The only weakness is the relative lack of material from the Theravada school regarding this topic. Hopefully it will serve as a needed antidote to the carnivorous proclivities of many modern Buddhists, particularly Western Buddhists. May all beings be free from suffering. Fred
