It's rather difficult to find 'interchangeable buckle' belts in the shops these days. I've found that the width (38 mm) is a good size for most trouser loops. The leather is pretty thin and the smell mentioned by others is normal tannery chemicals and will fade. The main thing is that, if you have a collection of buckles, the chances are that they'll fit on this belt.
