This is a solid product and sturdy and very good value for what it is. It works by rocking oscillations as opposed to the straight up and down vibrations of some other types. I have found this action particularly useful for back and joint massage and for help with a shoulder injury. I slipped a disc over 10 years ago and find this vibration plate ideal for therapy when my back is stiff or painful. Saves lots of money on a chiropractor! It is great if you lie over the platform with legs one side and head on a pillow the other side, with the small of your back on the vibrating plate(put a cushion over the plate for comfort). I particularly like the 10 minute session on maximum vibration and the way it gently winds down the speed at the end. You feel in agony afterwards but your back soon feels loose and relaxed! The remote control is also a boon. I was surprised at how big and heavy the platform actually is, weighing in at around 55lb or 25Kg. This makes it difficult to move around and to store in a small space. The pictures appear to show it smaller than it is. It is actually two feet(60cm) wide and 9"(23cm) high. For this reason I would caution less able people who need to shift it around to position it for use. You may be advised to buy the version with the upright support frame with wheels, so it can be moved around. Mine does not have wheels so I take care in that regard.

I love this machine - had it for around 4 weeks now, and have been using once or twice a day for 10 min setting each time. I am convinced I am seeing more tone and smoothness on my legs and stomach and feel generally more 'well'! the delivery was also very quick and assembly was as simple as attaching the 2 cords by clicking into place, and plugging in! job done! it is very heavy as mentioned in other reviews, but if you can find a spot for it then once its there you are good to go. My model does not have the support bar, but I have placed mine at the bottom of my bed so I can use the bedframe as support if I feel a bit wobbly! overall I would say this machine seems to be doing what it promises, and I still find it hilarious watching my jiggly bits jiggle (and they are def getting less jiggly!)

This is the best thing I have ever bought I suffer with a number of walking difficulties and a serious disability making it difficult for me to walk and use a gym. In the last month I have lost 7pm and 1 and a bit dress size. My mother who is an oap has lost 3bl. I would recommend this to anyone (of course you have to want to do it)
