* LOLLIPOP LUV, the album's first single spent an impressive 17 weeks in the R&B chart and peaked at number 23 in spring 1984. It also became a minor UK hit single.
* DO YOU REALLY LOVE ME became another R&B hit from the album in the summer of 1984. The LP has become a collectible item in the vinyl market.

Another commendable re-issue from BBR but it's such a shame that they continue with their policy of using vinyl for the bonus tracks instead of the master tapes as once again they have done on this album. I have a lot of BBR releases and it's the same for most if not all of them with regards the bonus tracks. I assume it's for financial reasons as other labels such as Funky Town Grooves use the master tapes for every single track on their re-issues including bonus tracks so why can't BBR do it?
BBR do a sterling job with their re-issues but it just leaves a bad taste when you can hear that tell-tale vinyl rumble. Shame.

I'm not big on writting reviews but this is a classic under rated Artist that time has fogotten. I truly dont know why music just dont sound this good anymore. This album by Bryan Loren is good from start to finish you will not have to skip one track. If you value true R & B music you will enjoy this. It's great that companys like BBR & FunktownGrooves USA are releasing all the old school out of print artist that never made it to CD before. They are also giving all the remixes and instrumentals as well. The quality and sounds is great. I hope they give us all of Lillo Thomas, The Limit, Krystol, & many more. Five Stars for Bryan Loren you will enjoy.
