BRUSH-BABY DENTALWIPES are soft, disposable, finger sleeve wipes impregnated with a cleansing solution that contains XYLITOL a tooth-friendly sugar that helps reduce the number of decay causing bacteria in the mouth.
Newborn babies do not have tooth-decay causing bacteria in their mouths but acquire these from their parents. Cleaning your baby’s mouth once or twice daily with DentalWipes helps remove these bacteria and prepare a healthy environment for their new baby teeth. DentalWipes can also be used to help clean delicate, first baby teeth when they emerge.
How does the Xylitol work? Tooth-decay causing bacteria cannot use this sugar as food and therefore cannot convert it into acid that rots teeth. As the mouth becomes less acid these bacteria die off and are replaced by more tooth-friendly bacteria.
DentalWipes are soft in baby mouths and gently help introduce your baby to the idea of having its mouth and teeth cleaned from a very early age, this will help make tooth brushing easier later on and there is some evidence to suggest that cleaning baby mouths helps reduce teething pain.
