An excellent reference text for student nurses. As it's American some terminology is different, but the nursing principles and easy to read care plans make it an optimal nursing resource.

As a student, this book is a bible of expert medical and nursing knowledge and I use it a primary reference in all written assignments. It covers a wide range of topics and is comprehensive and detailed in each. The writing, sentence structure and layout is logical and is easily readable. The C.D which accompanies is a nice addition for testing your skills in nursing assessment and management. Overall although the you may feel it is expensive compared to other books, I would recommend it for the sheer scale and depth the 2 books can offer nurses.
