The tipping driver's cab of the MB Actros bin lorry provides a view of the engine block. The mirror of the driver's cab can be folded out. The complete loading and unloading process is controlled by a unique turning wheel mechanism where two bins (coloured) can be emptied at the same time. The same procedure is also possible for the refuse container (grey) due to the flexible support console. The principle of the process: The refuse bins are pushed into the support console, the refuse is then emptied into the trough by the lifting mechanism. During the turning of the wheel, the refuse is being pulled into the functioning press mechanism, condensed and then thrown into the refuse bunker. This process is clearly shown through an inspection window. The upper handle mounted on the refuse bunker is used for tipping out the refuse. Turning this handle moves the refuse backwards by means of discharge slides, past the raised loading and unloading unit and transports it to the outside. Two small enclosed refuse bins and tread tyres complete the picture.

My three year old grandson (and I) spends hours playing with this toy. The bins are somewhat delicate however replacements are available for a few pounds. I cut up thick cardboard to use as refuge. (thats the kind of job you give to someone you don't like) If there is a child who loves watching bucket lorries then this is the toy for them. Its also quite educational as regards recycling with the buckets being blue and green.

I didn't really consider the size of this before I bought it for my four year old, only to be amazed when it was delivered to see it was a similar size to a young kids ride on. (Though that is not it's intended purpose). It is rare these days to find a plastic toy which looks and feels good quality, and this certainly does. My four year old loves it, my six year old 'borrows' it to process his bag of marbles through and it definitely had a 'wow' effect on xmas day.

Large Truck, but has all the realistic moving parts you need for the child who is keen to know how things work.
Excellent Toy, seems robust.Can buy additions like lights and extra wheelie bins but comes with some already.
It was all my son wanted for christmas and hes alot older than the age group this toy is aimed at.

Brilliant and indestructable!
I bought this as a present for my 4 year old godson and he absolutely loves it! He still plays it with it nearly every day and it appears to be indestructable.
