I bought this for my great nephew who is nearly two to go with his Bruder Tractor. It is well made, very functional and is not difficult for him to learn how to use it and connect it to the tractor. He plays with it frequently and so far it has stood up well to his activities.

Does NOT fit on all bruder trucks

We baught this trailer and a dump truck made by Bruder for my 4 yr old son for x- mas. I know you can purchase the items together as set, but my husband thought a different dump truck looked cooler, so we purchased the items seperatly. Both the trailer & the back half of the dump truck looked identical to the truck & trailer in the set, so we thought it would all hook together. Wrong! The hole on the trailer is too small to fit the hitch on the dump truck. It was very hard to explain to our son why Santa brought him a truck & trail for x -mas that doesn't fit together. We have since modified both dump truck & trailer to make them fit together.
As for the quality of the trailer, we are pleased. My son is not gentle on toys & loves to drive in dirt & mud, and so far it has held up. He also loves that 3 sides fold Down & he can haul lots of stuff. So far we are pleased, now that we modified it to work with the dump truck.

My 4 year old son loves this more than I expected. He uses his Bruder tractor to pull it and has a great time hauling other small toys around and then dumping them at various locations. It's extra fun as he can use his Bruder backhoe or forklift to load them on the trailer. His wooden letter blocks fit very nicely. Construction is as with other Bruder items - durable to a point. Excessive force will break or dislocate parts, but it stands up well to normal play (at least with my son).

My boys have the dump truck and the semi and wanted a trailer to pull also. So I called Bruder and they gave me this link. It works with all trailer and wagons.
