Product Description

Recorded Live at AK BELL Theatre, Perth, January 2007. Bruce Fummey was born in Perth, Scotland. However he didn't go to his first Burns Supper until he was 26, and started stand up comedy later still. His second offering at the Edinburgh Fringe festival combined his crass, but self effacing style of comedy with his love of Robert Burns. The resulting show 'About Tam O' Shanter' received popular and critical acclaim at the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe. This was followed by a tour of Scotland and Ireland. This show was filmed in Bruce's home town in January 2007. An hilarious background to Robert Burns's famous narrative topped off with the finest performance of the poem you are likely to see!
