5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing value 30 Jan 2013

This is an amazing racket! The strings are really tight which adds to the power and the grip is very sticky and grippy and isn't to bulky. It's great for playing with and is really really light (90 grams!!!). The case it comes with is very stylish and is cushioned on the inside which keeps the racket safe from bashing around. It's an all round amazing racket and I can see how it used to be 170! If you play a lot of badminton, you need one of these!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointing - average at best 8 Sep 2013
The first thing I noticed about this racket was exactly how HEAVY it is. Based on other reviews I expected it to be a 'feather light' racket. It definitely wasn't - it was about as heavy as my old 6 carlton 3500.

I am a regular intermediate player who plays around 3x a week and I was hoping this racket would improve my performance, particularly my smashes and hitting harder and farther with my backhand. Having used it for a couple of weeks I have found it has had little impact on improving my performance.

On the plus side, I didn't have the problems that other people had with control and the heaviness centred on the head of the racket. I have been able to get on with my normal game straight off, which involves a lot of delicate drop shots etc., without the need of getting used to the racket.

Overall, this is not a bad racket - its just not that much better than my much cheaper old racket. I think the over-hyped reviews lead to an overly high expectation. Hopefully this review will balance that somewhat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb! 3 Nov 2011
An excellent racket. Just given my arch nemesis a good beating! Very powerful, very light and improves control. Would definately recommend to anyone who struggles reaching the back of the court. Delivery is expensive but arrived the next day to be fair!

5.0 out of 5 stars very lite weight racket 5 Oct 2009
Great deal for this racket, very light weight, but i found handle quite small and would recommend a over handle grip, which improved my handling.

My husband has been using this racquet for over a year so I thought I would get myself one. It is great to use and has improved my power from back of court. It is unbelievable value for money and I would definately highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Buy! 22 April 2013

I bought this for my son's (10 years old) badminton club lessons and for us to use in the garden. We've got the net, we've got a few basic rackets, and compared to those this one is the Daddy; whoever has this in their grip has the light-sabre, the killer weapon.

The pre-promotion price is crazy, but it gives the racket an exceptional halo of superiority. The bottom-line though, is that for us it delivers.

3.0 out of 5 stars Just a simple OK 20 Feb 2013

The strings are tight, which is great on returning the shuttle. But, I am afraid the thickness of the rim is too thick, This is a let down on appearance and handling of the racket.

1.0 out of 5 stars very poor quality racket 18 Feb 2014
Verified Purchase
The moment I received the racket I can see the quality of the metal is not good .
After a couple of games I can see head twisted because of the tension of the strings .
I will not recommend the racket to my friends and they made mickey out of me purchasing the rackets.
I am not sure I can resend the racket back to the vendor and would like to know the procedure of it .
later I went to buy Cartlon racket for my self ..

4.0 out of 5 stars Racket good - shuttles not so good
The racket is good and my son is pleased with the product - the shuttlecocks are pretty thin/light and I suspect will not last too long, maybe good enough for the beach.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great but not at the RRP
This is a good racket which comes in a nice case, but it certainly wouldn't have been worth the RRP of 145! As a not-very-good amateur it does me fine.

2.0 out of 5 stars Heavy at head, very thick rim
I do not like this racket. It feels heavy compared to my Head racket, and the heaviness is centered on the head. I just can't play well with it.
