All the Basics in one book

I found this book really straightforward and useful. It gives you most of what you might feel you needed to know about Browning and his poetry in a relatively small space. It seems accurate but lively. Browning is still in some respects a neglected giant among the Victorians - this book has convinced me that I need to look deeper into his work.
