5.0 out of 5 stars I'm on my way home now to you 25 Nov 2006
Format:Audio CD
Just when you thought Claudio from Co&Cam couldn't shock you more with his lyrics and style...this happens! The first track is very sweet, almost poppy, but also haunting. Don't get used to it though, this album feels almost as if there's something left unsaid from Second Stage Turbine and this is Claudio's chance to make it known. Once again he paints a very vivid picture for the listener and makes you experience something you certainly remember. The electronica synths mixed with the guitar work spreads nicely across the CD so that it flows beautifully. The quality is constant as is the pace, so if you're searching for another Co&Cam riff-fest you're going to have to wait I'm afraid, but this album is sheer poetry, a great addition to any collection. A spin on the insert-a deck of song lyric tarot cards- is a new one on me also! My advice is to buy this may not be to the tastes of the average rock fan, but those who understand Co&Cam understand something deeper, which we all know Claudio is about. Many thanks for reading

5.0 out of 5 stars Weird but good! 1 Dec 2006
Format:Audio CD
I must say I was very disappointed when I first heard this, being a huge fan of Coheed and Cambria. It is entirely different from CO&CA, in terms of musical style. I had my tracks on random last week and mistook the beginning of a Prize Fighter song for an Aphex Twin song!

However, with repeated listening it really grows on you. It's very warm music with a clear sense of humour, headed by Claudio's liquid voice. Some beautiful acoustic guitar flourishes stand out from very smooth synthesizer melodies, and it's an album completely full of surprises.

The CD came with the lyrics printed on the back of tarot cards too - an odd touch but strangely really cool! I'd recommend it for lovers of Claudio's voice definitely, you probably need an open mind to enjoy it fully but it's a great little CD!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellently written and superb to listen to. 9 Jan 2014
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
It almost seems there's nothing Claudio Sanchez cannot do. This is an album I have listened to at least once every day since I have got it and if you are a fan of the weird, the funky and the Claudio then this is definitely for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Claudio's done it again 2 Feb 2012
Format:Audio CD
After years in the making this ablum is a perfect testimont to claudio sanchez's musical talent.

For fans of Coheed and Cambria, this will resonant with you as claudios hauntingly high voiced is put to use on obscure folk/acoustic tracks with electronica beats on top sprinkled if you will. If anyone follows the story behind the coheed and cambria series (with i suggest you do armory wars comics!!) will know this as the true prequel to the albums as it shows the inferno before the maddness of the year of the black rainbow and the second stage turbine blade.

all in all its a great album to listen to the packaging is superb and makes a great addition to any collection

This album is absolutely amazing, so different to coherent and cambria, I listened to the album 3 times in a row when it arrived, its electro and acoustic and works brilliant
