Family has always been important to the walkers but it’s even more important now, in the Complete Fourth Season. Nora remains the matriarch of the Walkers, but will she remain level-headed with her new, much younger beau on her arm? The devastating news of Kitty’s illness has everyone re-evaluating their priorities, yet Kitty tackles cancer with the grace and strength we've all seen as a senator's wife, and before that, a successful career woman. Children continue to be a theme for the brothers and sisters, and this season they're a talking point for three of the siblings: Kevin and Scotty are desperate to be parents and have over 130 women vying for the role of surrogate; Kitty and Robert have their precious little boy to protect while Kitty's ill, and now Rebecca and Justin are expecting. Walker number seven, Luke, the newest addition to the tribe, is making his presence felt in many areas, some that aren't so appealing.

US dramas often fail to deliver after the first couple of series but that is far from the case with B & S. Once again the script writers have created new believable storylines for each individual. Nora Walker continues to love and nuture her family as best she can whilst maintaining her inability to keep a secret. Sarah's love life is still like a yo yo. Kitty experiences troubles with her health. Kevin & Scotty grow in their marriage. Justin & Rebecca love for one another is tested throughout the series. As ever the fringe characters of Hollie, Saul, and the children often provide the best entertainment. William Walker still manages to haunt the family several years after his death.
Each episode will require tissues for tears of joy and sorrow. Just when you think no more devastation can happen to the Walker family, it hits you part way through, like a stab to the heart. From that moment on every episode is spot on, the actors convey every line they have with poignancy, wit and sentiment where needed. Sally Field, Calista Flockhart & Rachel Griffiths never fail to provide flawless performances, with their understanding of one another almost like they were family.
This series is not for the faint hearted, but as always provides the goods for an entertaining and enjoyable programme. A must buy if you have seen the previous three series. If not go out and buy them beforehand!

Being a member of a large family like the Walkers this show hit's home brilliantly. Everyone and anyone who values family (no matter what your perception of family is)you will be able to relate to the family dynamics and madness of this typical-all-American family. This season is superb and my respect for the show grows as it is unlike various other shows which seem to flake when they reach their fourth/fifth season, yet Brothers and Sisters remains one of my favorite shows and is likely to stay for many seasons to come. A proud member of my DVD collection, add this to your Basket now... you won't be disappointed.

Brothers and Sisters is always a winner, but for those disappointed by the last series you will see a return to previous form. The sharp wit is back, the character development is strong and new aspects and dynamics of favourite family members emerge!
There are plenty of twists and turns and the last episode is a must see!!
As always the Walkers will have you laughing and crying along with them...this is brilliant!!

Absolutely gripping family Saga.Cannot wait for the next series.Series five is going to be the last in this series.Sally Field has been great throughout.

Pretty good...
I do love brothers and sisters, but this season isnt as good as the first three. it's still grreat though and i do think evertyone should watch it.
