Amazon Verified Purchase
Bought this replacement cartridge from Amazon. Unusually , I had to re-start the whole system to pick up the fact that a new Cartridge had been installed.(The printer would produce test-pages from within the printer software, but ignored all pages sent from the Computer... until I'd switched off everything, and I do mean killing the power, not just re-starting Windows.) This minor blip now accounted for, the printer is doing it's job well, & like all my other Brother printers is doing exactly what it says on the tin. Gave up on Samsungs, HPs etc. After many years of buying mixed-brands... Brother have come out way-in-front in my personal opinion, & I only use one old HPLJ now. I have 7 pieces of Brother equipment in two offices & they give the least problems (none really) of all the hardware.
Can't comment on the item because as with previous deliveries from HDNL this has been a disaster. We'd been have problems getting things delivered from Amazon recently so thought we would try getting it delivered to a different address to see if this made a difference. Not a bit of it!! Even though someone was there all day on the day it was supposed to be delivered it did not arrive and no card was left. Two days later I received emails from Amazon saying that we had returned the item and they were arranging a refund. When I contacted them to say we had not returned the item and were still waiting for it they said there had been a technical problem - it should not have shown as returned but undeliverable. No explanation as to why it was undeliverable. We are not renewing Amazon Prime and will be sourcing as much as we can from other suppliers.

This is the original product and performed as such; complements a refilled cartridge in case of problems. Happy with purchase.

Original Brother Printer Cartridge
Lots of companies sell reconditioned laser printer cartridges but I have always been wary of them. This is a Brother original product. It's not very exciting but it works.

Doesn't last long
Does the job but costs - the 1.5K print life at 5 percent coverage will not go very far if you print several times a week. The useful minimum used to be 2. Read more
