Product Description

Product Description

The Brother Max 4 Large Food Portioners is made up of individual pots that click together. Just un-click a pot from the batch in the freezer, pop it in the microwave to defrost, serve the food to baby straight from the pot and then just throw it in the dishwasher. As it's easier to pour food straight from the pan, these pots click together snugly so there are no gaps for the food to drop into, and their lids stay open so they won't get in the way. Ensure the snuggest fit by squeezing the pots together from the inside with your thumb and forefinger. You may need to transfer food from the pot into a bowl, so just push the base with your thumb and the food easily pops out. And because frozen food often looks the same, a pen is included for writing the contents straight onto each pot.

Great food pots 11 July 2009
By Reader
I really like these food pots. They are a bit big for my son at the moment (7 months) but I just fill them about 2/3rds full and will be able to use them as he gets older.

I disagree that these are hard to open - you don't need to use your nails if you just pull up on the circular part designed for that on the lid.

The push up buttonsd work well if you put them under the tap for a second (as I expect you do with an ice cube tray), but I do agree that they need a wash other than the dishwasher as food doesn't wash out of the corners without a brush.

I also love the way they look; I know that it doesn't matter but it's nice to have something functional that looks pretty too!

I would recommend these and have bought three packs after I found the littler versions so good.

Absolute Rubbish 24 Feb 2012
Oh how I wish I had read some of the negative reviews on here before wasting my money on these pots.

They look stylish when you see them on the shelf in the shop. Be warned though - they are all style and no substance. There is a soft circle in the base which is meant to make it easier to pop frozen food out - this ends up with food stuck around it if the food is either cooked or simply defrosted - so you can never completey empty the pot.

The lids are hard to open and often result in a broken nail.

The pots don't clip together easily. Surely this is a gimmic anyway - why do you need to clip them together - they are easier to store separately.

The pen that comes with them simply doesnt work on the pot. So I had to buy a sharpie to write on them with.

There are far more practical and equally (if not more) pretty products out there to buy - seriously save your money.

I found these really handy for the first couple of months of introducing solids which is why I've given them a 4 but once my bub was eating more I now have no use for them so they were only handy for a a short period.

Nightmare to wash
These pots look great but are so annoying to wash because of the dimples in the lids which stay full of dirty water if you put them in the dishwasher. Read more
