I have just purchased this printer and it looks and sounds great. It comes with full documentation which is easy to follow, although the only technical help number given was in Ireland and assumed you were going to ring from within that country. The number 01-2411911 should have been made available to UK users as 00 353 12411911. When I did get through, I learned there was actually a UK number - 08444 999 444!Hey ho.

Hi - recently bought this printer for my small office
having used a HP MFC for 2 years.
The main reason for swapping was it had a built in fax
and separate ink cartidges.
The printer was very easy to set up, it is a lot more quiet
the cost of the compatible ink is very cheap, the quality of
printing is more than acceptable, copying is easy and quick,
i haven`t used the scanner yet but going by the performance i am
sure this will be ok too.
All round - very pleased and a good choice.

I have always used an all in one printer --usually Hp and I have to say that this Brother printer is possibly the worst printer I have ever used--The Ink cartridges may be cheap but I have replaced 4 in 2
weeks with hardly any printing
The controls are difficult
The printer is constantly jamming
Photos will not print without streaks across
This was purchased for work --I am now left with a less than useless
piece of kit and totally regret the purchase and still in desperate need of a printer
