Now no longer current, I bought mine when it was newly released and paid considerably more than is now being asked. I did receive a second paper tray as part of the deal, itself then about a £100 extra that allows the capacity to increase to 500 sheets (a full ream) to be divided between its trays. Alternatively, one tray can be used for company stationery and the other for plain paper. The output tray will accept about 100 pages or so.

Still one of the fastest A4 laser printers around, it is fairly quick to start up from cold and the first page appears quickly. It has built-in duplex capabilities that reduce its overall speed by about 60% as the paper has be drawn back in, flipped and the second side printed. I have found the process to be reasonably fast and completely reliable, far better than needing to flip pages manually and never quite remembering whether to flip from side to side or top to bottom, even more complex if printing in landscape mode.

It is Network capable too, wired rather than wireless, and set-up was relatively easy and operation unaffected in comparison to its USB connection. Since changing router, I cannot now use it via Ethernet and have reverted to USB. Consequently, if buying today, I would probably opt for WiFi capability (not then an option).

Although supposedly capable of printing envelopes, no matter the thickness, I can never manage to have one not be very badly creased. This was no less true of a much older Brother printer that this replaced (it was cheaper to buy another than a drum replacement and fresh toner). Consequently, I now use a label printer (also Brother) for addressing purposes.
