I received the item swiftly but after installation there was a problem with the drum unit. I emailed the company telling them this and received back a couple of very confusing none personal emails not detailing if I was getting a replacement or any corrective help or action on their part. After fiddling with the drum unit the problem went away which was a good job as I am very unsure if the after sales service was going to be up to much.
Amazon Verified Purchase
This drum is designed to print around 20,000 pages or so and then be replaced. If pages are dark because of excessive toner build up before buying a new one use the blue or purple button at the bottom of the drum to scrape the surface of the laser drum and remove excessive toner.
Not all the problems with printing will be down to the drum. If there are white lines on the page this is probably due to debris lying on the laser screen. In this case remove the drum and then use a vacuum cleaner or clean lint free cloth to clean the laser screen.
If these actions have not resolved the problems then consider buying a replacement drum which is cheaper than replacing the printer.
Finally search the Amazon site carefully. There are a number of product lists for the same item and some sellers are selling for a lot less than others. The cheapest I have seen is £29 so search carefully.
