The "Inductive power station" uses electromagnetic induction technology, electricity is generated and transmitted via magnetic fields. The advantage of this technology is no wires. No exposed charging contacts Charges even with Wii Remote Silicone Cover and WiiMotionPlus. The attachment process begins when the device is placed on the charger.
Universal Suitable for currently five types of devices
The Inductive power station is tailored to individual needs, with five different types of devices available. But Brooklyn offers a variety of battery packs that were developed specifically for use with the Inductive power station. The need for the use of Brooklyn Battery packs are currently available for the following devices: Nintendo Wii Remote - Amazon Order: B002Q8HFKM Nintendo Wii Balance Board - Amazon Order: B002Q8HFKW Nintendo DS - Amazon Order: B002Q8HFLG Nintendo DS Lite - Amazon Order: B002Q8HFL6 and Xbox 360 controller - Amazon Order: B002Q8HFLQ (also available in black). More Battery packs can be added at any time. The Inductive power station does not include a battery pack.To begin charging the batteries simply place your console or controller on the Inductive power station. Of course you can put the Brooklyn Battery Packs individually to the station - how you want. It allows up to three battery packs simultaneously. If you use the Brooklyn Battery Packs in a Wii Remote, you can even charge with silicone sleeve and WIIMOTION Plus attachment and Battery Packs for Nintendo DS Lite and Nintendo DS in addition to the usual Car-charger to load or AC adapter. While charging the LEDs light up red on the top and at the foot of the Inductive power station. The LEDs turn green when the unit is fully charged

I won one of these in a competition along with the Xbox 360 battery packs.
after getting several uses out of it so far I have come to like it its a decent sized unit and has a good design to it. it charges well and is easy to place batteries onto it and get them charging really quickly.
one flaw i have found is that if i am to charge 2 batteries at once there are no individual LED status lights for each magnetic charging area, it will turn green when one of the batteries has charged and then will go back to red when that battery has been removed, but without knowing which battery has charged i do not know which to take off.
it is not a disaster but it seems as though it has not been though out that well.
Also if you are to charge only one battery this is not much of an issue.

What a waste of money!! It did not charge my batteries properly, I even purchased batteries made by the same company for this charger. I have gone back to using the old duracell use and dispose batteries, they last longer than any one charge with this system. Very disapointed. Do not buy this product.
