The concept is terrific - seeing all 3 kids chasing around trying to catch the parachuting teddy was something I wont forget in a hurry. Then I took it to some rather gale force wind and the (slightly flimsy) catch got tugged too hard and broke - not beyond repair though. If the wind is strong enough that the kite wont go above 5 feet(!) forget it and try a stunt kite or similar instead.

This works well although the wind was a bit too strong and gusty which meant alot of tangled string and broken rubber bands! So use it best in calmer winds or take a lot of rubber bands with you and alot of patience! My kids love it!

My little girl loves kite flying. However, she also loves letting go of the kite and see it sail away into the distance.

This is the perfect solution, as she also likes cuddling bears. She would never let the bear sail off into the distance, and even if she wanted to, it wouldn't.

Best of all though, is watching her trying to catch the bear as it floats gently down to Earth.

Word of warning though, don't fly this near any holes or on a cliff top. When your little ones are running after the bear, they won't be looking where they are going.
