Orlando is the theme park capital of the world - and a lot more. It is fun, fast - and exhausting. Having worked over there since 1993, I am more convinced than ever that holiday-makers must be equipped with a good guidebook to get the most out of it. The attractions are multiplying and getting bigger all the time and it is a mammoth task keeping tabs on it all. That's why I started The Brit's Guide to Orlando and Walt Disney World in the first place, and I like to think it is the most user-friendly and street-smart book available. We get dozens of reader letters backing up our opinion, as well as acknowledgements from the tour operators and attractions themselves, and the 1999 edition is better value than ever with a special deal with Alamo Rent A Car for all readers.
