They are meticulous about identifying which rides for which age ranges. And they pay a lot of attention to getting the most out of every day for a family of mixed age ranges. Product Description

From the Publisher

The full-out guide to the Disneyland Resort as well as Paris itself (hence How To Get An Eiffel Of The City, too!), the Veness duo's inside knowledge and research provide the ingredients for a perfect family holiday. And, with some two million British visitors every year, this remains a huge market for all concerned. The latest edition provides a full run-down of the resort, plus the best sights to see in Paris itself - a good change of pace for mum and dad. You've trusted them in Orlando, where readers have made them Britain's top guide-book authors into the USA. Simon and Susan simply go out and test everything, reporting it like it is, not how the brochures want people to see it. They are meticulous about identifying which rides are suitable for which age ranges and they pay special attention to getting the most out of every day for a family of mixed age ranges. With this book, it is like having a personal advisor with you for every aspect of your time there. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

From the Author

Well, here it is, nearly two years in the making and the product of numerous visits - in a multitude of different ways - to Europe's No 1 tourist attraction. Disneyland Paris has come on in leaps and bounds since its troubled opening in 1992, and its popularity is still growing at a healthy rate. Now with two theme parks and a host of associated development, any visit here has to be planned in some detail and with a good awareness for the variety on offer - and that's where the Brit's Guide comes in. I will steer you through the full picture of the resort, its attractions, hotels, shops and restaurants (both in Disneyland itself and in the surrounding areas - including Paris), how to get there, how to dodge the worst of the queues, what you can expect to pay, how to cope with the (varied!) weather and, most importantly of all, how to plan for it. A Disney theme park remains one of the most enjoyable experiences on earth, but it is easy to get it wrong and miss out on some of the essential 'magic.' Therefore, take me along with you (as hundreds of thousands of fellow Brits have already done with my Orlando book), and I absolutely guarantee to show you a good time! Disneyland Paris is possibly the most artistic and beautiful of all the nine Disney parks around the world, so don't miss out on the chance to do it in the best possible style. Bon voyage...... --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must-read for a trip to Disneyland Paris 11 Feb 2009
An informative guide to the Disney park. We went for a five day trip in December for the first time and used the book to work out all the things we wanted to do. I wrote out an intinerary and my missus thought I was mad, but like the guide said, we booked our restaurants in advance and good job we did because when we turned up at our allotted time, they would be turning people away who hadn't booked.
It's a very easy to read book; full of lists and hints and tips and top ten attractions. We ended up highlighting half the book! But we would not have been able to do half the stuff we did had we not used the book to plan the trip.
If you are going for the first time to Disneyland Paris then it is essential reading. Oh, and the queues for everything double at weekends.

5.0 out of 5 stars best book you can get on DLRP 15 May 2009
i have also read the AA guide to DLRP and can safely say this Brits Guide is far superior. It contains great insider tips and is highly readable. I'm confident it tells you everything you need to know to make the most of your trip to DLRP. We had already booked when I got it but it would also be helpful at the planning stages. Even though I have read it all the way through I will definitely be taking it around the parks with me when we visit later in the year, im sure i will refer to it often. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Disneyland Paris Essential 29 April 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase
This little book is packed full of useful information and advice which really helped to organise our first trip to Disneyland Paris. The guides to the parks are invaluable for deciding which attractions to see and which ones to miss. The hotel and restaurant reviews were spot on too. Highly recommended.
