By ACB (swansea) TOP 100 REVIEWER
Format:Paperback
This has long been the 'bible' and saviour of health care professionals. As a junior doctor some 40 years ago (still have a copy not terribly helpful at the time), this has become a completely thorough and regularly upgraded publication over the years to a comprehensive evidence-based guidance on drug indications, interactions and potential side-effects. It is conveniently divided into content topics with cross-references. It belongs in any medical practioner's armoury including pharmacists, nurses, physiotherapists, and any allied health professional conventional or alternative. It may be received free-of charge to (usually medically registered doctors), but at the price offered it is a bargain and may save the embarrassment and consequences of prescribing inappropriate medication. Brilliantly produced and edited. The formulary committee deserve all the praise they can receive. Essential.

This book is a must for our team. We need to be able to offer up to date information about epilepsy medicines, and this is the only way to do that.
