A chronologically organised list of the principal pharoahs and queens of ancient Egypt, this compact book leads us from the early dynastic period through to the ptolemies in bite-sized sections. Light on anecdote that might have brightened the read, but businesslike and accessible nonetheless, this book is a useful reference tool for anyone interested in the evolution of these dynasties. Nicely produced.
