More About the Author

Sean Lang's most recent book is First World War For Dummies, written in association with Imperial War Museums. He studied history at Oxford and now teaches it at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. In addition to First World War For Dummies, he has written three other history books in the For Dummies series, including the best-selling British History For Dummies.

Sean believes passionately in the importance of communicating the joy of history to the widest audience possible: he broadcasts regularly on BBC local radio, is often in demand as a speaker for history groups and he lectures regularly to Cambridge University's International Summer School. He is also an award-winning playwright and has had a number of one-act plays performed and published.

Full of information presented in an entertaining manner. This book revises some things I already knew but also contains a lot I didn't. Well worth buying.
