I was really looking forward to learning the different songs of the birds in my garden but was disappointed to find that, although the voice describing the birds was pleasant enough, the bird song was drowned by the commentary and the unnecessary background music. I could have found the facts from a book but it was the bird song I wanted mostly. In addition it had green captions on the screen which was mostly green as the filming was done in green gardens so that the writing was hard to read,

Dreadful music, too many stills, no birdsong - how bad can a DVD be? Sadly, this one, in my opinion, is very bad indeed. Don't waste your money.

Quite an enjoyable DVD with very good photograpy and information about the birds. The only downside is that you cannot hear the birdsong which we were hoping would be illustrated so that we can identify the songs in our garden.
