Although one or two of the films in this collection are a bit too basic the whole programme explains the procedures in air traffic control very well and the archive film is a delight. As a one-time frequent visitor to various towers and radar units it was also a personal walk down memory lane.

This took me back to 1966 when I joined the then Ministry of Aviation in Air Traffic Control. In my time I worked at Heathrow Tower, then the old LATCC NorthSide before finally transferring to LATCC West Drayton. I actually recognised some of the ATC personnel in the video and it bought back many happy memories. Some of actors in the video were a little dated (Harry Enfield like) but this is also a part of the charm of the video.

I was an air traffic controller throughout the period of this DVD. It is a terrible representation, poor quality and so boring to watch. Most of the people in it are actors with silly voices. Shame you do not do refunds.
