Wearing the Britax Baby Carrier creates more quality time with your child when you’re out and about. You can carry your baby facing you, for that all-important closeness and instilling a sense of security. Once they are little older, they may prefer to face outwards, allowing them to explore the world ahead and satisfy their new-found curiosity about the wider world.

The carrier has an adjustable head support for babies’ head and neck control and padded leg openings, to ensure the highest level of comfort. For babies weighing 3.5 to 5 kg, there are leg loops for added safety, whilst the removable insert for babies between 3.5 and 6 kg creates a more natural sitting position, raising your baby close enough to kiss

Its padded waist belt and shoulder straps distribute your child’s weight evenly across your shoulders, back and hips, ensuring maximum, long-wearing comfort, increased stamina, and reducing the odds of aches and pains.

Many baby carriers involve a learning curve that parents are unprepared for. The Britax Baby Carrier is very intuitive and was engineered for simple daily use. An over-the-head design allows you to easily take the carrier on and off unaided, whilst the easy-snap fastening buckles can be adjusted with one hand making it easier to get your child in and out of the carrier.

The only baby carrier you’ll ever need

The Britax Baby Carrier has been ergonomically engineered to fit and accommodate infants to toddlers from 8 pounds (3.5 kilograms) to 32 pounds (14.5 kilograms) in the most popular carrying positions, so you will only need one carrier from birth to toddler age. For smaller babies, the infant insert ensures a comfortable natural sitting position and height. The infant insert should be used from (8 to 14 pounds/3.5 – 6 kg)--ishould not be used once your baby’s ears reach the top of the Baby Carrier.

The seat extender insert is an accessory that can be used as soon as the infant insert is no longer needed (6 kg and more). The seat extender insert provides a wider seating area and allows for natural and comfortable sitting (always facing towards the inside). The child can then place his or her legs around the parents’ hip, which leads to a better distribution of weight and thus a higher level of carrying comfort for the parents.

The Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 was introduced at the beginning of the 1990s as a response to the needs of the general public for textiles which posed no risk to health. The Britax Baby Carrier has been awarded the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certificate which certifies that the materials used in the carrier are not harmful.
