Most Helpful Customer Reviews

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful By Monaco Blue on 20 Dec. 2013
These dvds offer an informed and excellently researched insight into infamous robberies in the UK over the last 50 years.

Ex detectives, ex criminals, victims, and witnesses all contribute their accounts of events, and the depth of planning and insider knowledge going into these crimes is impressive.

Realistic reconstructions, using actors, are entertaining and provide the action scenes. The ruthlessness and efficiency of the criminals comes across.

Almost all are caught, and sentenced to generally 20 plus years in prison. Today's detection methods, forensic technology and CCTV proliferation, in most areas , makes getting away with these types of crimes almost impossible today.

The Police are far far more competent at their work than the criminals, who make many errors, and invariably end up in a 6ft by 8ft cell with 20 years to regret being so idiotic !!

Great viewing !!!
