Notwithstanding that the author is my cousin, I have read this book with consuming interest as Bletchley Park was almost lost to the nation. Concise and factual, this book gives a history of the place and its derring-do but also gives an insight into the dedication with which ordinary people set about saving this unique national treasure. More than a guide book, but not a hefty volume, this book will be a memento of a visit and a keepsake about some extraordinary people and doings of the twentieth century.
