We bought these building along with the farm playbase to try to create a "real" farm for our little boys. These buildings take quite a bit of building...so do set aside quite a bit of time to put them together. When they're together they look great, but we found them to be really flimsy - far too flimsy for our little boys to be able to play with! They can barely withstand a gentle touch without a part of the roof falling off, so putting animals or vehicles inside and then bringing them out again just couldn't happen without wails of disappointment. Incredibly frustrating!! In the end we took them to pieces, (not hard, as you can probably imagine!), and put them away...never to see the light of day again.
If you want to create a great looking farm then these will do the trick. BUT, if it's going to be played with by youngsters then I would really recommend finding something that's a lot more durable!

Great porduct but beware its not suitable for very young boys as it is not too durable when being hurled aroudn a room!

Britains 40973 - Farm Building Set - 1/32nd
Bought as gift for Grandson age two & three quarters, toy slightly to old as not as durable as some wooden buildings. Having said that they were easy for his Dad to put together, larger than expected,great detail even down to guttering, and fitted all animals and tractors etc. Would reccomend for an older child. Grandson is enjoying them but a little rough in his play at the moment,hence saying better for older child.

Britains farm building set
This is a great addition to my sons farm set, he loves to fill the barns with tractors and implements and animals. Britains are a good study make.
