A Bible? 23 April 2009
Well organised restaurant and hotel guide for the most part, apart from London where breaking it down into london boroughs is unhelpful. For the most part about 95% reliable, but some strange decisions made. have dined at a 2 star London Hotel restaurant, to me it should not be in the guide, let alone have 2stars.

I am a big Michelin guide fan it may not tell you of places that do not wish to be featured, but since entry if selected is free then most eateries know it's value to their business. my interpetation of the guide is a. an entry, decent cooking well presented. b. a star comfortable chairs well spaced tables cooking of real quaity.C 2 stars all of "b" plus a number of table staff discreet but ever watchful and a wine list of length with a good price range. d 3 stars we are talking pure luxury with staff at least one waiter to each 2 tables, table decoration and cutlery etc. of the finest. a sommlier who is pleased to suggust wines to suit your taste and to enhance the food often quite modestly priced. You should certainly be able to feel that you are being dined in a style fit for a king. among my favourites are Michael Roux le gavroche** london Jean-Michel Lorain*** burgundyand best of all one of the greatest of 20th. century's chefs. Paul Bocuse***lyons.

I've never been to a place in this guide that I haven't liked. However, it's sometimes a bit hard to find places near you, since the places aren't marked on a map.
