Fairly fast 4, read. Actually no problems with reading, just with why read this? Chose 10 excellent articles on history of anything and does that give you a good understanding of the subject, of course NOT, so this will NOT benefit most readers. Each article is in the near excellent to excellent category as far as that goes, but each needs to be expanded to full potential and the whole integrated into something with this same title. The actual content is what you would expect to get from a monthly magazine on the subject, once per month. Under this title, it is just NOT that good as the articles are mostly designed to ask questions NOT to answer all the variables of the subjects. The rating would be 5 for each article individually, even for those I found less compelling. The rating for the book at $30-40 dollars would be a 3, but at the stellar costs it is offered at it is only a 2. This book is NOT for the average reader it is just too diverse in content and lacking in connectivity to each article. The book is a good showcase for literary thought on the topic, but it can NOT form the basis of a hard opinion on the subject(s). Thanks, Harry!
