Product Description

From the Author

Everything is set for another fantastic year in Britain's favourite long-haul destination and we have all the fun and excitement in store in the latest edition of the Brit Guide. Not only that, we also have the best advice on how to get the most out of it, at the best value and with something for everyone, cutting through the confusion and complexity in plain, easy to read style.

The introduction of our exclusive new Brit Bonus features means even more money-saving offers for our readers along with our great Partnership deals with discounts on things like car hire and excursions.

As we live just five minutes from Disney (yes, we liked the place so much, we moved here!), we are confident we have all the specialist 'insider' knowledge necessary to pass on the very best insight into everything that's here, and we have more than 20 years' experience of visiting the parks to back it up.

This is now the 17th edition of our Orlando guide and we continue to enjoy unprecedented reader feedback - and input - which, we believe, helps to ensure we stay the No 1 publication for this destination. No other guide is written with you, the British visitor, in mind and we sincerely hope you take us with you on your next visit to this holiday wonderland. You won't be disappointed.

I think it's a truly excellent guide. It's in full colour and I really enjoy getting the feel of the atmosphere from the pictures - hotels, restaurants etc.
The main point I would make, is that this book is FUN to read through and helps you to choose what's right for YOU. So that you have the best time of it all.

Simon and Susan do a great job and I've never been disappointed by what they have recommended. No, more than that I have always left Orland with the certain feeling that they have introduced me to yet another set of wonderful experiences.

Orlando is such a dynamic place that it needs real experts to sift through the good, the bad and the ugly! One thing I can tell you, is that they are quite right when they say, that there really is too much to do. And that the secret of having the best time in Orlando, is to use their Brit Guide at home to build your own personal To-Do-List. That way, everything you do is what you chose to do. That's what I do and I've always had a fantastic time

I have bought this book several times through the years - once even though I wasn't going. I like that it's always so up to date and I can read about all the new things that Simon & Susan have found for us during the year. I would recommend it most highly

I bought this book after being lent the 2005 version by a colleague - the format is very user friendly, there is plenty of detail - down to car park prices and 'which parks are busiest on which days'. I am very much looking forward to my holiday next summer and this book has helped me to feel well prepared - I feel able to plan with almost military precision, whilst making it appear easy! The tips on websites for park tickets have proved very useful - it's an expensive holiday, but the savings in the book and the suggestions for saving money on park tickets are great. My only criticism would be that it doesn't cover Tampa airport in detail as an option of destination, but Orlando International and Sanford are well-detailed. Overall, a great book, definately recommended.

Every year I eagerly await publication of the "Orlando bible", the Brit's Guide. Essential, unbiased reading for anyone contemplating a visit (be it for the first time or a repeat) to Orlando. Bit of a pity that things are changing so quickly there that some parts are out of date as soon as it is published but this does not detract in any way from the overall content. Beats competitors face down every time!

I've been to Florida before but seeing as it's going to be my partners first time I decided to get him this book for his birthday. He loves reading up on places and checking out where things are and stuff. Problem is he's not had a chance to even look at this book as I haven't put it down!!! Its a fantastic guide to whats about and some really amazing tips. A must have for anyone visiting Florida for the first time and for anyone who goes constantly!!! It's written very well and everytime time I pick it up I find yet another useful piece of info. The only time my partner is going to get to read it is on the flight over there!!!

I bought this guide after reading all the other fantastic reviews. My wife read it from cover to cover prior to our recent holiday in Orlando and I read sections while we were away. Either way it provided us with an amazing and in depth guide to everywhere we were planning on going, with plenty of tips and hints on getting the best out of our stay.

I would definitely buy an up to date copy of this book the next time we visit Florida and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive guide.

Having now been to Orlando for the last four years, this guide has become an annual purchase. It has just the right coverage of everything. I've previously tried several of the other guides but found them "too much"
This is ideal for just dipping in and out as you need.
My back cover is always missing the various coupons offers that are cut out and used every year.
I remember the anticipation the first year, hoping that the hotel that we had already booked, had a favourable review in the guide.
I find the website addresses very useful, and we use them for planning while we are out there on our iphone's or ipad.
The size and weight of the book is also ideal, it never comes home, but is always replaced by a new pair of shoes !!
I've also used the personal itinerary service mentioned in the book on britguideorlando.net. We found that following an itinerary based on our family stopped all the arguments about where to go when.

I had this guide for a holiday to Orlando in 2008, and also used their planning service, and it was superb. It gave all the useful information, and we used it every day to plan our holiday. The tips on each theme park are spot on, and we would heartily recommend them to anyone going to Florida. My boys were 9 and 7 at the time.

We have bought it again as we are off in the Summer for the same trip, and will again use it for all aspects of the holiday.

The holiday planner, is the best money we spent on our holiday, it sounds a little rigid, but you can use it as you like, and we used it fully to ensure the family were not tired, we did not queue for more than 20 minutes in peak season, and everyone enjoyed themselves. We will be using again.
