The first time you go to Orlando, if you don't know what to expect you will be completely overwhelmed; you'll come back tired, broke - and probably frustrated that you've missed some of the best bits. This guide is a brilliant help when it comes to planning your trip, so that you can really make the most of every moment. It shows you how to prioritise, how to plan each day so that you miss the biggest crowds and is full of tips to make your dollars go further. It also makes suggestions on what to miss out, if you're short of time, and stresses the value of taking some time simply to chill out by the pool. It is supposed to be a holiday, after all! A really comprehensive book, particularly for first-time visitors.

I bought this book because it looked like the most up to date and thorough book available on Orlando - I wasn't wrong! The book is packed full of information and useful tips and even takes you on a walk through the parks and tells you the best strategies for minimal queuing.

The things I like the most about this book are the descriptions of the rides and that they give them ratings so you know if they're unmissable or just for the kiddies. I also like the tone of the writing, which is unbiased and British (i.e. not over the top cheesy Disney-orientated American!)

I went out to buy my friend who I'm going on holiday with a birthday present and intended on buying her a different book so we could swap but I found all the other Orlando books disappointing as they didn't include more than a couple of lines about Harry Potter (or were so out of date they didn't include it at all!) so I've ordered another copy of this book to give to her!

If you're going to Orlando and looking for a guidebook then look no further!

I have a number of copies of this book and while much is similar the yearly updates keep it fresh and a well worth companion for your planning and visit. Despite being a Florida 'veteran' the information in the Brits Guide adds to our trip and for us it is very useful for the non-theme park aspects from entertainment, dining and further afield.

For any people planning their first visit to the Land of the Mouse, this is the definitive book for Brits and contains all you will need to ensure you have a very happy holiday.

Good guide, shame about the maps
This is a good guide let down badly by the quality of the maps. These are too low resolution to be of any use. The cost o the Kindle edition seems inflated as a result.
