I don't see it as a toy I see it as am appropriate present for a colleague who is going through the change and constantly has hot flushes. And as she is an elegant lady a black lace fan fitted her perfectly. She loves it. And uses it constantly. Black always goes with every other colour, so when she dresses up the fan don't look out of place. Not suitable for kids unless you don't mind it being broken straight, away as it is delicate. But great if you know an elegant lady who has really hot flushes

I purchased this for my mum who is currently going through "the change" and suffers from frequent hot flushes. It is very pretty & lightweight, ideal for fitting into a handbag. My mum finds it really handy & useful & it helps her to cool down quickly.
