Product Description

Double bill of spin-offs from the successful teen comedy 'Bring It On'. In 'Bring It On - Again' (2004), Whittier (Anne Judson-Yager) arrives at college fresh from cheerleading camp, confident that she will be included in the national varsity cheerleading team. But head cheerleader Tina (Bree Turner) and her friend Marni (Joie Lenz) are threatened by Whittier's good looks and obvious talent, and proceed to mess up both her cheerleading and her love life. Whittier strikes back by forming a new squad of her own to challenge the varsity squad at the national championship. In 'Bring It On - All or Nothing' (2006), Britney Allen (Hayden Panettiere) is a cheerleader at the elite seaside campus of Pacific Vista High School. When she hears about a forthcoming audition for a top cheer squad to appear in recording star Rihanna's upcoming television special, she is determined that her Pirates cheer squad will capture the coveted spot. But Britney's life turns upside-down when her father's job takes her family to Crenshaw Heights, a multi-ethnic working-class neighbourhood east of Los Angeles. At her new school, Britney is viewed with suspicion by most of the students, especially by Camille (Solange Knowles), the leader of the Crenshaw Heights Warriors cheerleading squad. No one is more surprised than Camille, however, when Britney proves herself and secures a spot on the Warriors' cheer squad. Britney and her new teammates work feverishly to prepare for the audition for Rihanna, incorporating some edgy new moves into their performance. Now the pressure is on, as the Warriors find themselves locked in a high-stakes cheer-off with Pacific Vista, Britney's old school.

Synopsis

Features the cheerleading-based comedy sequels to Bring It On; Bring It On Again and Bring It On - All or Nothing. BRING IT ON AGAIN follows California State University Freshman Whittier in her roller-coaster first year away from home. College turns out to be pretty far removed from high school and despite making some really good friendships, Whittier decides to join the cheerleading squad. Almost overnight she's a campus sensation but as her popularity grows with the in-crowd she realises she has been neglecting the people that really care about her. When Tina, the snobby, fascistic head of the cheerleading squad realises where Whittier's allegiances lie Whittier is fired from the team, crushing her hopes of performing at the National Cheerleading Championship. But with a rabble of campus misfits willing to help her out in any way they can, Whittier discovers that her hopes of representing her college at the Championship may not be lost after all. In Bring It On: All or Nothing, teen cheerleader Britney Allen is forced to slum it after moving from a wealthy neighboUrhood to the more modest community of Crenshaw Heights. Once there, Britney quickly finds a nemesis in evil cheerleading captain Camille. Only by securing a spot on the cheerleading squad will she be able to put her enemy to shame and make a name for herself at her new school. But this will require Britney to make it past Camille's claws.

Bit disappointing compared to the other Bring It On films but still as funny as the other comedies out there. Some great one liners and a great performance from joie lenz. Good film overall but dont expect 2 much.

1.0 out of 5 stars not suitable for young girls 3 Jan 2010
Very disappointed with this box set and also misled - the second dvd has a 15 IRL next to it once you open the box and it is definately not the type of thing I'd like my daughter to watch - first scene is about being thin and bitching about those who aren't - and they all are! - so madness, then they start using short names - ttfn, bff bfh - which means bitch from hell then spelling out swearing - turned it off at this point so don't know if it got any better. The one which was a 12 was pretty poor, boring and pointless - glad when it ended!
